Alice Tomada
Alice Tomada is a student of Ilya Gringolts at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, where she is pursuing a Master Soloist degree. At the same time, she deepens her study of Baroque violin under Monika Baer and, since November 2024, has also been studying with Lorenza Borrani in Florence.
Born in 2001 in Bolzano, Alice began violin studies with her father. She earned her Bachelor’s degree with honors and distinction at the Monteverdi Conservatory in Bolzano in 2021. In 2023, she completed a Master in Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano under the guidance of Alessandro Moccia. Between 2022 and 2023, she studied string quartet performance at the Accademia Perosi with Jana Kuss and Oliver Wille, violinists of the Kuss Quartet.
Sofía Fasla-Prolat
Born in Madrid, Sofía Fasla-Prolat has appeared at renowned festivals including the British Isles Music Festival, The Holland Music Sessions, Cervo International Festival, Schloss Kirchberg an der Jagst International Music Festival, Proyecto Musical Villa de Lerma, Kammermusik Festival Freiburg, Fundación Eutherpe, Aurora Chamber Music Festival (Sweden), Fundación Vitoria Vital, Chamber Music Academy of Ferrara, Swiss Foundation for Young Musicians or Fundación Juan March Madrid.
She has been a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), the Moritzburg Festival Orchestra, and the Lucerne Contemporary Orchestra, where she has also served as assistant concertmaster and taken on leadership roles. She performs regularly with orchestras such as the Bruckner Orchester Linz, Haydn Philharmonie, the Spira Mirabilis Project, KALA Kammerphilharmonie, Ensemble Reflektor, Camerata Basilea and other distinguished ensembles.
Marina Prat Mir
At the age of nine, Marina Prat Mir entered the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Girona, where she began her violin studies with Eszter Schutz as her principal teacher. It was during this period that she was introduced to the viola by Sergi Alpiste, and she later studied viola for two years under Joan Fèlix at the same conservatory.
During these years, she participated in projects with Jenia Pikovsky and Joshua Fisher at the Encore Music Project in England, as well as in the Camerata del Pirineo Catalán, working with musicians such as Pierfrancesco Fiordaliso, Heriberto Fonseca, Fanny Kobus, François Ragot, Frédéric Descargues, and Sergi Alpiste.
In 2019, she took part in the VI edition of Clàssica Jove, a course focused on chamber music, taught entirely by the Casals Quartet and the Gerhard Quartet. In 2021, she participated as a “Young Talent” at the Delta Chamber Music Festival, performing alongside Laia Puig, Anna Puig, Fernando Arias, Livia Sellin, David Schultheiss, and Maria José Ortuño.
Kiril Fasla-Prolat
Kiril has performed recitals at venues including the British Isles Music Festival, Fundación Olivar de Castillejo, Elisabethenkirche in Basel, Bergen, Schloss Kirchberg an der Jagst, Proyecto Musical Villa de Lerma, Fundación Eutherpe in León, MusaE, Fundación Vitoria Vital, the Swiss Foundation for Young Musicians and other prominent Swiss institutions. He recently presented the solo project “Höre einen Augengblick” at St. Marien Kirche in Basel and St. George’s Anglican Church, a programme for solo cello featuring works by J.S. Bach and J.M. Guix. He has also performed in chamber ensembles with distinguished musicians such as Adelina Oprean and Anna Gebert, primarily at Château de Promenois.
Born in Madrid, he began his cello studies with Suzana Stefanovic, later continuing with Adolfo Gutiérrez and Michal Dmochowski. He subsequently studied with Rafael Rosenfeld at the Musik Akademie Basel and with Danjulo Ishizaka at the Universität der Künste (UdK) Berlin. He was mentored for many years by Ivan Monighetti and Christopher Jepson, and has also received valuable guidance from Lluis Claret, Troels Svane, Thomas Grossenbacher, Gregor Horsch and Steven Isserlis.
